ABOUT OUR GROUP
Stoughton Resettlement is a collective of community volunteers who have formed a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to help refugees by giving them the chance for a safe, new start to life. Originally formed in December 2021 to sponsor Afghan families, our mission broadened to include all refugees fleeing war, violence and destruction in their countries.
OUR MISSION
Assist refugees from around the world to resettle in South Central Wisconsin by finding a place to call home in order to begin to build a new life in our community.
Refugees that resettle in Stoughton and surrounding locations will enjoy safe, meaningful, independent lives in a welcoming community that celebrates their culture and respects their human rights. Our new families can expect a community with safe neighborhoods, an excellent education for children and adults, good jobs that offer independence to thrive, and people that welcome them with kindness.
